Tech stocks that stand to benefit from AI: Portfolio manager
Artificial intelligence has caught the imagination of investors and the attention of numerous companies that could use it to grow tremendously, one investment professional says.
Speaking with BNN Bloomberg’s Amber Kanwar on Thursday, Francisco Bido, senior portfolio manager at Integrated Alpha, said he foresees double-digit growth for some companies that are putting time and money into advancing their AI capabilities.
He pointed to Meta as one possible beneficiary.
“I believe they (Meta) have the scale and user base to take full advantage of these technologies when they come out,” he noted.
Bido recommended Meta Platforms Inc. (META) and Adobe Inc. (ADBE) as his stock buys within the technology sector.
He does, however, have a sell rating on Intel Corporation (INTC) as he believes it is suffering from internal restructuring and thinks it may lag behind in the AI race in comparison to its peers.
Bido, his family, his firm and his investment banking clients do not own any shares of the stocks mentioned above.
